Halstab, a division of Hammond Group Inc., is located in Hammond, Indiana, just 20 miles east of downtown Chicago. Hammond Group Inc. founded the Halstab division in 1971 to provide a domestic source of high quality heat stabilizers for the wire and cable industry.
The division has since grown well beyond it's roots, and is one of the largest suppliers of mixed metal liquid and powder stabilizers for PVC, organo-tin stabilizers for both flexible and rigid vinyl applications, and is the world's leading supplier of overbased carbonated metal carboxylates used as building blocks for making mixed metal liquid stabilizers. Halstab has grown by internal development and external acquisition.
